Cohen & Co Finalizes Acquisition of Tax & Wealth Management, Inc.

Cohen & Co has completed its acquisition of Tax & Wealth Management, Inc. (TWM), effective today.

The transaction reinforces and builds on Cohen & Co’s private client services, which focus on the needs of family offices and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. All TWM associates have joined the firm, including TWM Founder and Partner Brian Gothot, and newly minted partners Doug Shostek and George Gothot.

This acquisition comes on the heels of a strategic investment by Lovell Minnick Partners announced in October 2024, as well as other recent acquisitions in Philadelphia, PA, and Buffalo, NY.
