Josh Armbruster, CPA

Josh likes to get straight to the point when he’s working. His close attention to detail, methodical nature and calm demeanor help him to prioritize efficiency and accuracy during engagements.

Since beginning his career in public accounting in 2017, Josh has developed specific expertise in state and local taxation. He reviews state and local business tax returns, performs nexus studies and ensures clients are compliant with the state and local jurisdictions. Additionally, Josh responds to state and local tax notices and, for new clients, often reviews returns prepared by other firms for any missed opportunities. He serves both corporate and pass-through companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, entertainment and retail.

Josh resides in Avon, Ohio, with his wife and their daughter. A former collegiate baseball player, he now participates in recreational sports and activities, including softball and golf. When he’s not playing sports, Josh likes to stay active by running and hiking — most recently climbing to the summit of Camelback Mountain in Arizona. He also enjoys bourbon and has an extensive collection he shares with family and friends.
