Cohen & Co is pleased to announce it has moved from its Hunt Valley location to Towson, Maryland. The firm’s new home will reside in Towson Commons at 1 W. Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite 1000, for the duration of its 10-year lease.
Relocating its approximately 70 employees to Baltimore County’s county seat, the new location offers many benefits — from a space more intentionally designed to boost collaboration and drive engagement, to positioning the firm closer to clients and universities key to its business and recruiting strategies.
“We’re excited about this move because it will enhance our culture, bringing us all physically closer throughout the open layout and giving us new common meeting and networking areas,” says Christie Stravino, tax partner in the Towson office. “It also puts us in close proximity to downtown Baltimore, offering greater access to clients, center of influence networks and local talent.”
The nearly 18,000 square feet of space will have 31 offices, 49 workstations, two large conference rooms and three team rooms, a multi-purpose room, game room, lounge, café, production room and IT build room. But the environment outside of the office is just as important to the firm and its employees.
“The area surrounding Towson Commons is vibrant and active from a business and entertainment perspective,” says Matt Rager, a director of tax at the firm and geographic lead for the Baltimore office. “Being even closer to clients and additional opportunities is going to be impactful for everyone involved.”
